The Popups are part of the Page templates. Select a popup from our ready-made templates, edit and change the settings suiting to your style and publish it.
Add a popup template
In the Pages app, when you hover over a template, you can select the option to duplicate the template. To create a popup from the desired template you just need to click on the duplicate icon and a new window will pop out. Here you need to click on the toggle where it says Duplicate as a popup and then click on the Duplicate template button. The template will be created as a popup with an icon in front of the template name, so you can recognize it easily.
The Popup block
In Flow, add the Popup block. In it, you can use a template to create a campaign or just copy an already created popup campaign.
In the settings menu of the editor, you can change and customize the popup settings to suit your needs. Here you can:
Select position – choose where on the screen you want this popup to be displayed and how many times per visitor.
Add triggers – select one or more of the trigger types:
- Delay - show or hide the popup after a certain amount of time has passed
- Inactivity - show or hide after the visitor has been inactive for a certain amount of time
- Scroll - show or hide after the visitor reaches a percentage of a certain amount of the page
- Exit intent - show or hide when the visitor moves to close the page
- Click - show or hide when the visitor clicks on a certain element (button, text) on the page. An HTML class name or element ID is needed
Add conditions – to trigger the popup or not if the URL contains or matches the provided value.
Popup domains
Click the dropdown menu from Select or search for a domain and click on the Setup your first domain button. A new window will pop up where you can manage your popup domains.
Tip: these settings are also available to enter from the main dashboard by selecting Settings – Pages – Manage popup domains.
Insert your script
You need to copy the Loopify popups script to your pages. Click on Get script and then on the javascript (js) button. Copy the code that is in the script and add it to your website and all pages that the script should run on.
Then, insert the domain URL. Fill out the field (example: https://www.mydomain.com), click on the Add button and then Verify the domain. Once this is done you can start running popups. You can run popups on multiple domains from the same Loopify account with one script. Just make sure that you add the script to the other domains as well.
Tip: click on the Show used popups in this domain, all the used popup campaigns will appear and you can explore them in detail, but to check them out you must integrate them in a flow.
Optional Settings
At the bottom of the settings page you can play around with some settings like animation (slide or fade in), backdrop color (the color of the background while the popup is present) and its opacity. There's also a setting to not show the popup if the visitor arrives directly to your page from a newsletter you sent.
Example: You have your own website with the script added. You send an email to your Loopify contacts that links to your website. When the contact clicks the email button and lands on your website, Loopify would know that it originates from the Loopify email due to a parameter in the URL and would not show the popup to this contact (only if this settings is turned on).
Keep your customers attention by trying Loopify's popups now!
