Temporary Smart Segments

If you want to try out and see how the smart segment would look like and test out different conditions in it, you can temporarily save the segment by clicking on the Save temporarily button. You can also do this to quickly find and manage contacts that you don't need a permanent smart segment for.

Before saving, a message will appear with an explanation of where this temporary smart segment will be saved and how to remove it afterwards.

When saved like this, the smart segment will appear on top of the other smart segments with an icon as an indicator that this is the temporary smart segment, and by hovering the segment a message appears reminding you that the segment will be cleared if you leave the page or refresh it before saving the segment.

To see the contacts inside the segment you can just click on the segment or click the menu on the right side of the segment (three dots) and select the List contacts in segment option.

If you click on the second option of this menu where it says view/edit segment, you can edit the segment to your liking. Once this is done, you can choose to update the temporary smart segment and by clicking the Update temporary button. If you hover this button a message will appear informing you about the same action.

If you want to delete the segment, click on the Delete temporary button or simply refresh the page. 

And if you are satisfied with the conditions inside of the smart segment and want to save it to be a permanent one, click on the Save & close button and the segment will no longer be temporary and will appear among all the other smart segments.
