Eventually, you can send to an email that will hard-bounce or soft-bounce (learn more about them here).
A hard-bounced contact will end up in a suppression list, meaning communication can no longer be sent to them. The reasons for such bounces can be numerous, but with the 'Suppressions' page in the Email settings, you can see which contacts have bounced, the reason for it and when did it happen.
Go to Settings > Email > Suppressions to get started:
If you have bounced contacts, you should see them right here. The description (reason behind the bounce) is automatically gathered from Mailgun, our email-sending provider.
You can mass-select (tick) contacts and then remove their suppression, or use the trash can to delete suppressions on specific contacts (the contacts are not deleted). The search bar is used for searching a specific contact.
You can also check the complaints if anyone left any.
Note: once you delete a suppression of a contact, communication can again be sent to them. This doesn't mean that they can now receive your emails, but that you can once again send to them. Do have in mind the reason for the bounce, as it's better to delete a contact with a non-existent email than to send to them repeatedly.
