Add your own custom domains in links (Pages, SMS, Print)

If you set up a custom domain, your links in all Loopify campaigns will be rendered with your own domain! Not only is this sweet, but it adds influence to your brand.

Having a custom domain can work for all links across all Loopify channels - pages, SMS, and print. For links in Email, we already have the email sending domain thing and we suggest doing this first.

Next, make sure the custom domain you are adding is already added as a verified email sending domain. Then, setting it up follows the same steps for all apps, we'll use Print in our example:

• Go to Settings > Print (or any app) > Custom domain.
• Type your domain URL in the field starting with http:// (for example http://links.loopify.com). Click Add
• After Add, you'll see a CNAME record (this one - link-tracker-elb-1083637486.eu-west-1.elb.amazonaws.com). You'd need to create this record in your DNS. If this seems technical, just forward the record to your IT person and they'll know what to do.
• When the record is successfully created, click the Verify button and your domain will become active!

Then, inserting a link in your Print campaign/template will now appear as http://www.yourdomain.com/shrtcode (the short code will be converted on an actual send). The SMS app also uses shortened links, so same thing there!

Note: Until your domain is verified, the links will use the https://lpy.io URL.

Note 2: If you want your own custom domain to use https, you'd want to create a reverse http proxy. Instead of pointing the cname record to link-tracker-elb-1083637486.eu-west-1.elb.amazonaws.com, point it to your http proxy server. This server needs a SSL ceritificate to support https.

You can also use domains that are already verified as email sending domains. If you would like to use any other domains, please create a support ticket with proof of domain ownership, and we'll handle it.
