You want a custom page and email template for your company, all blinged up and ready to use? You can select your modules entirely and then choose the layout that suits you and your brand. Share it with your branches so they can use it as well. Other people will not see your custom-made template, only those using your Loopify account. The custom-made templates chill out in the same place as the Loopify design templates.
Tip: Before suggesting any design templates, you can check out our list of email/page templates and figure which modules could be included in your new template. To see the exact names of the modules in order to request them by name, use the shortcut Ctrl + Alt + M while in the editor and the module names will appear.
General requirements
- If possible, the template design should be provided as a published Adobe XD format, using the Publish Design Specs option. We also accept PDF and PSD files.
- When the design is not delivered in an Adobe XD format, be sure to specify the font-family, font-size, line-height, and color for all the text. This also includes the width and height of all margins and spacing.
- If relevant, define the breakpoints for smaller devices (phones, tablets), including the font size and line height for mobile versions.
- All design colors must be specified as 6-digit bin-hex (#XXXXXX)
- For Page templates: Include the design of the navigation pages-menu (when you have several pages). If this is not specified, it will be set up as our standard "hamburger" menu
- For Page templates: If a background image is used, the behavior of the image must be specified (scaling, position etc.)
- For Email templates: The recommended width for Email is 640 px, including any margins.
Modules requirements
- In your provided XD (or PDF/PSD) file, please separate each module using a red (#ff0000), dashed line. See our example as a reference.
- Define the standard settings for all modules – example: font-size, line-height, color, alignment etc. Also, specify which settings are for the User-editor and which for the template admin. Read about the difference between a User and an Admin.
- This is a map of the template editor in Loopify. Use it as a reference if you're uncertain of which term to use when requesting modules or settings.
Text requirements
- The standard default text in the template will be the dummy "Lorem ipsum dolor..." text. If you have your own relevant text provide it to us, and we will include it in the template.
- If you use custom fonts, they need to be supplied as web-fonts. For building the best cross-platform compatibility, we recommend providing the OTF/TTF, WOFF, WOFF2, SVG or EOT font formats.
Note: All links (website, contact e-mail, social media links etc.) used in the design need to be provided in their full form.
Image requirements
- The standard default images in the template will be random images from Loopify Free Content provided by Unsplash. If you have your own images, provide them to us in a high resolution (a minimum width of 1280 px at 72 DPI) and we will include them in the template.
- All logos, icons, or custom graphics need to be provided. Preferably as vector files (Adobe Illustrator for example).
When you have all this, send it to your Customer Success team by emailing them at success@loopify.com. They know the drill, and they'll hook you up. They also reply when asked about more information, further questions or any requests.
